Dianna- Thanks for sharing this. I particularly love the sound of Julie Phillips' work. I'll definitely have to add this to my growing list of to-review. Hope you're well this week. Cheers, -Thalia
I appreciate the reminder to read when you want and not force it. I’ve had a time trying to finish books 📚 but if it’s audiobook or on my kindle I’m able to read them. It’s so interesting
Yes, there have been long periods of time when I just can't read and I used to feel bad about it because I love reading. Now I know there are periods of no reading and periods when I can read a lot. I also have a hard time reading physical books. It's easy for me to read for a few minutes here and there on my phone or listen to audiobooks on my commute. However we can get our reading done, I think it's worth it :) 💜
Thank you for the share 💜💜💜 I am in the process of reading Care Work (precursor to the future is disabled), dance of the dissident daughter (reread), and Mexican Gothic. I started the last one yesterday, and I’m halfway through it. It’s so good!
How did you like Entering Hekate’s Cave? I’m also in the process of getting through Entering Hekate’s Garden. It’s been months of reading it though 🫣
I want to listen to more fiction books, I mostly read nonfiction. The Golem is fiction but it's also about magic. I really liked Entering Hekate's Cave. I listened to the audiobook, I think it's a book that needs to be read slowly and worked through the exercises which I didn't do this time around. Thanks for the inspiration to share what I'm reading 💜
